LU: Semester exams proposed from December,Exam pattern may Be Subjective.
The final Decision will be taken in the meeting of the examination committee tomorrow, the examinations of UG-PG students of the first semester will be held in February.
Examination Shall be based On Subjective Pattern.
Despite the new session being late due to Covid, Lucknow University’s undergraduate third and fifth semester examinations will start in the end of December or the first week of January. The university administration has started its rapid preparation. However, the examinations of UG-PG students of the first semester are proposed to be conducted in February. The final Decision Shall be taken in November 1 by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Alok Kumar Rai.

Lucknow University has taken admission only on conducting the entrance exam for UG-PG admission. Due to the delay in entrance exam and result, the first year was done while other colleges are still going through the admission process on the basis of merit. This is affecting the studies of other semesters as well. However, from August 16, except the first year, classes for other courses have started. In view of this, the university administration is preparing to start the third and fifth semester examinations from December-January. At the same time, the examination of the first semester has been proposed in February so that the course of the students can be completed. Also, the examinations should not be affected by the possible assembly elections in March.
Examination Committee The recommendation of the committee constituted on examination related subjects will be considered to improve the marks of students promoted in Covid, in case of foreign students not completing their examinations due to back papers.
