In a first, Lucknow University finds a place in the NIRF Rankings 2021!
Marking its maiden entry into the NIRF rankings released by the central government, Lucknow University has been placed in the rank band of 150-200 on the list. Reportedly, LU is the only state university from Uttar Pradesh to bag a spot in the prestigious rankings published by the Ministry of Education. As per reports, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Alok Kumar asserted that the administration will try to implement efforts for securing a rank under 100, the next time.
Lucknow’s BBAU bags the 65th in the national rankings
Reportedly, the VC of Lucknow University affirmed that the educational centre has ample resources and facilities for betterment. Given a string of projects at the institute, it can be expected that LU will climb up the ladder of ranks next year.
Notably, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University(Central) in Lucknow has been placed on the 65th position, on the list. Last year, this institution was given a spot in the 101-105 rank band. Within a short span of one year, the varsity has made it to the group of 100 best universities in the nation. Now, the authorities are targeting a rank amid the top 10 for it.

KGMU ranks 9th on the list of medical colleges
Under the latest rankings, Lucknow’s KGMU has secured the 9th rank on the list of medical colleges, marking a slight improvement from the last year. Besides, the varsity bagged the 39th spot on the index of universities.
As per reports, the Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Bipin Puri said that the institution has undergone a range of upgrades through the past 4 to 6 months. While the count of ICU beds has been increased, the online consultation facility has also been improved. Reportedly, KGMU is one of the medical centres in the nation, that caters to the largest count of telephonic and online consultations.
