Lucknow University Celebrates Teacher’s Day with Solemn Ceremony and Cultural Programs, Honors Educators with Momentos

September 5th, which means Teacher’s Day, is a very important day for a student. After parents, it is the teacher who enlightens their life path by imparting knowledge, guidance, and experience.

Today, in the Vishwakarma Hall located in the second campus of the University of Lucknow situated in Jankipuram, students celebrated Teacher’s Day to express their gratitude and reverence towards their teachers and received their blessings.

On this occasion, the chief guest, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Alok Kumar Rai, lit the lamp while remembering Goddess Saraswati, the deity of knowledge. In his speech, he discussed the personality and contributions of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose birthday is celebrated as Teacher’s Day. The campus director of the second campus, the head of the Law Department Prof. B.D. Singh, Proctor Prof. Mohammad Ahmad, Sports In-charge of the second campus Prof. Anurag Srivastava, Head of the Institute of Management Sciences Prof. Vineeta Kachar, Engineering Department Head Prof. A.K. Singh, Yoga Department Head Prof. Ashok Sonkar, and other distinguished professors were present. They boosted the morale of the students by attending various cultural programs presented by the students.

Director of the Sports and Cultural Committee of Lucknow University, Prof. Satish Chandra said that the relationship between teachers and students is very sacred. A teacher is the one who transforms an ordinary youth like Chandragupta into a national leader. A teacher is the principal architect of nation-building.

In this program, all the present teachers were gifted a memento as a symbol of respect.

The president of the committee, Dr. Ugrasen Varma, mentioned that the event was entirely successful due to the collaboration of the convener Aman Varma and other students.

सितंबर माह का पंचम दिवस अर्थात शिक्षक दिवस।

एक शिक्षार्थी के लिए बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण दिवस क्योंकि माता पिता के बाद एक शिक्षक ही है जो अपना ज्ञान, मार्गदर्शन एव अनुभव देकर उनके जीवनरूपी पथ को ज्योतिर्मय बनाता है।

जानकीपुरम स्थिति लखनऊ विश्वविद्यालय के द्वितीय परिसर स्थित विश्वकर्मा सभागार में आज विश्वविद्यालय के छात्रों ने शिक्षकों के प्रति अपनी कृतज्ञता एव श्रद्धा व्यक्त करने के लिए शिक्षक दिवस मनाया एव गुरुजनों का आशीर्वाद प्राप्त किया।।

इस अवसर पर मुख्य अतिथि विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति प्रो०आलोक कुमार राय ने ज्ञान की अधिष्ठात्री देवी माँ शारदे का स्मरण करते हुए दीप दीप-प्रज्वलित किया एव अपने उद्बोधन में सर्वपल्ली राधाकृष्णन जी के व्यक्तित्व एव कृतित्व के बारे में चर्चा की,जिनके जयंती के अवसर पर यह दिवस मनाया जाता है।
शिक्षक दिवस के अवसर पर द्वितीय परिसर के कैम्पस डायरेक्टर एव विधि संकाय अधिष्ठाता प्रो०बीडी सिंह,प्रोक्टर प्रो०मोहम्मद अहमद , द्वितीय परिसर स्पोर्ट्स इन्चार्ज प्रो० अनुराग श्रीवास्तव, इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ मैनेजमेंट साइस की हेड प्रो० विनीता काचर,इंजीनियरिंग संकाय के अधिष्ठाता प्रो० ए०के० सिंह ,योग संकाय के अधिष्ठाता प्रो०अशोक सोनकर सहित अन्य सम्मानित गणमान्य प्रोफेसर सभागार में मौजूद रहे एव छात्रों द्वारा प्रस्तुत सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम में अपनी उपस्थिति से छात्रों का मनोबल बढाया।

लखनऊ विश्वविद्यालय स्पोर्ट्स एव कल्चरल कमेटी के डायरेक्टर प्रो० सतीश चंद्र ने कहा कि शिक्षकों और छात्रों का सम्बंध बहुत ही पावन होता है। एक शिक्षक ही है जो अपने ज्ञान और विचारों से चंद्रगुप्त जैसे सामान्य युवक को राष्ट्रनायक बना देता है। एक शिक्षक राष्ट्रनिर्माण का प्रमुख मिस्त्री होता है।

इस कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित सभी गुरुजनों को एक स्मृतिचिन्ह ‘मोमेंटो’ भेंट कर उनके प्रति अपनी श्रद्धा व्यक्त की गई।

कमेटी के प्रेसिडेंट डा० उग्रसेन वर्मा ने बताया कि कन्वेनर अमन वर्मा एव अन्य छात्रों के सहयोग से यह कार्यक्रम पूर्णतः सफल रहा।
