Lucknow University UG admission begins for 4000 seats, here’s how to apply

The Vice-Chancellor of Lucknow University, Prof. Alok Kumar Rai, has initiated the online admission process for the session 2024-25 on 29.03.2024. Undergraduate (UG) and UG Professional Programmes application forms have been released as part of the admission process. The deadline for submission of online application forms is 31.05.2024. The application fee for undergraduate programs is as follows.

The university will complete the admission process for approximately 4250 seats under undergraduate and undergraduate professional programs. Additionally, seats from colleges participating in the centralized admission process will also be filled through the university’s online portal. The procedure for participating in the centralized admission process will remain the same as last year. Below is the breakdown of seats for various programs offered within the university campus.

Lucknow University has reassigned the subject groups for subject selection under the BA (NEP) program starting from the 2024-25 academic session. The subjects under BA (NEP) have been divided into groups labeled A through H. Any candidate seeking admission to BA (NEP) in Lucknow University or its affiliated colleges will be required to select subjects from these groups.

The selection of subjects is subject to the following conditions:

  1. Only one subject can be chosen from each group.
  2. A subject allocated as a major cannot be taken as a minor.
  3. If major subjects are chosen from a particular group, minor subjects cannot be taken from that group.
  4. Statistics subjects will only be taken as minors if the candidate has chosen Mathematics as a major subject.
  5. It is mandatory to take Mathematics along with Statistics.
