Lucknow University’s foundation day today
Lucknow University will turn 101 on Thursday. On this occasion, the foundation day of the university will be celebrated in Malviya Auditorium. This time, alumnus Dinkar P Srivastava will be honored as the chief guest on the foundation day. Lucknow University was established on 18 March 1921. Sir Harcourt Butler, the then Lieutenant Governor of the United Provinces and the Talukdars of Awadh had a special contribution in the establishment of LU.

The museum will be inaugurated during the varsity’s foundation day celebrations to be held on Thursday. The doors of the museum are open for students, faculty and researchers of Lucknow University and affiliated colleges and other academic institutions.
