NAAC Peer team arrives Lucknow University for a three day visit for accreditation

Today, on the 21st of July 2022, an 8 member team from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council arrived at the University of Lucknow for its three day visit. The visit began with a detailed presentation in front of the team by honorable by chancellor professor Alok Kumar Rai. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Alok Kumar Rai, elaborated on academic reforms in light of NEP 2020 implementation. He also emphasized on the ICT implementation undertaken in different organizational function ranging from admission to examination. The Vice-Chancellor elaborated the financial strengthening especially on non-fees and non-grant receipts. He shared his strategic vision about the administrative, academic and infrastructural development.

The Vice-Chancellor in his presentation also exhibited the student centric initiatives where a student is the key central focal point in all the institute decision-making. He further elaborated on the green initiatives and societal initiative of the university. he Vice-Chancellor presented the increasing trend of publications, research grant, societal contributions, and ever increasing and strengthening of the brand of the university which is clearly reflected in the increasing student interest not just from the country but abroad. The team raised certain queries with regard to NEP implementation, issues in coordination with the government , support from different stakeholders and the future vision which the Vice-Chancellor aptly replied.

लखनऊ विश्वविद्यालय में आज दिनांक 21 जुलाई 2022 से नेशनल एसेसमेंट एंड एक्रीडिटेशन काउंसिल की टीम विश्वविद्यालय निरीक्षण के लिए आ चुकी है। तीन दिवसीय निरीक्षण के इस दौरे के पहले दिन की शुरुआत उक्त 8 सदस्यीय टीम के सामने माननीय कुलपति प्रोफेसर आलोक कुमार राय की प्रस्तुति से हुई। कुलपति प्रो. आलोक कुमार राय ने एनईपी 2020 के कार्यान्वयन के आलोक में शैक्षणिक सुधारों पर विस्तार से बताया। उन्होंने प्रवेश से लेकर परीक्षा तक के विभिन्न संगठनात्मक कार्यों में किए गए आईसीटी कार्यान्वयन पर भी जोर दिया। माननीय कुलपति ने विशेष रूप से नॉन फ़ीस और नॉन ग्रांट रिसिप्ट्स पर वित्तीय मजबूती के बारे में विस्तार से बताया। उन्होंने प्रशासनिक, शैक्षणिक और इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चरल विकास के बारे में अपनी रणनीतिक दृष्टि साझा की। माननीय कुलपति ने अपनी प्रस्तुति में छात्र केंद्रित पहल का भी प्रदर्शन किया और बताया कैसे विश्वविद्यालय के हर निर्णय लेने में यहां के छात्र महत्वपूर्ण केंद्रीय केंद्र बिंदु है। उन्होंने आगे विश्वविद्यालय की हरित पहल और सामाजिक पहल पर विस्तार से बताया।कुलपति ने विश्वविद्यालय के विभिन्न अध्यापकों के शोध संबंधी प्रकाशनों की बढ़ती प्रवृत्ति, अनुसंधान अनुदान, सामाजिक योगदान, और विश्वविद्यालय के ब्रांड के निरंतर बढ़ते और सुदृढ़ीकरण के प्रमाण प्रस्तुत किये जो न केवल देश से बल्कि विदेशों में बढ़ती छात्र रुचि में स्पष्ट रूप से परिलक्षित होता है। NAAC टीम ने एनईपी कार्यान्वयन, सरकार के साथ समन्वय में मुद्दों, विभिन्न हितधारकों से समर्थन और भविष्य के दृष्टिकोण के संबंध में कुछ प्रश्न उठाए, जिसका माननीय कुलपति ने उचित उत्तर दिया।
