The technical problem of Lucknow University is affecting not only the admission of students but also the system of education. B.Sc final year students say that the option of students to deposit fees on the UDRC portal is not opening, whereas on September 21 itself, we had submitted the form in the department. Due to this, there is a problem in starting their practical classes as well. Not only this, the students also said that when they were contacted in the Dean’s office, it was found that their counseling form, which they had submitted, was lost somewhere. The students have complained about this on Twitter to the Vice Chancellor, DSW. At the same time, university spokesperson Dr. Durgesh Srivastava said that the problems of the students would be resolved by contacting the department in this regard
13 Afghan students took admission in PhD
Lucknow. The Indian Council for Cultural Affiliates (ICCR) has sanctioned special scholarships to 13 Afghan students who have recently completed their PG from Lucknow University. Under this, they will be provided tuition fee, hostel fee and reimbursement and scholarship. Ahmed Iqbal Ghafoori to Renewable Energy, Ahmed Shakib Lodi to Economics, Jawad Majidi, Ilyas Rahi, Jameel Irfani, Bashir Ahmad Tayyab, Hidayatullah Amin, Saifullah Rahimi, Muhammad Rais Usmani to Business Administration, Awal Khan Watan Dost, Hungama Kohistani, Ahmed Taki Royesh, Mohd Hussain Mohamedi have been admitted to the Department of Public Administration. Vice Chancellor Prof. Alok Kumar Rai has said that better facilities are being provided to international students in the university. They won’t have any problem here. Due to the better environment of the university, foreign students are also willing to do PhD here after PG.
