Admission to Lucknow University: There will be 4 lakh applicants for 1 lakh seats, therefore admission could take place in this way.
Due to Covid-19, canceling the high school and intermediate exams, the government has given a decision to promote everyone. With this, about four lakh students going to be promoted in Inter will be contenders for one lakh graduate seats. In the year 2020, 74.63 percent students passed in the UP Board Inter examination. At the same time, due to promotion of all the students in Inter this year, the race for admission in Lucknow University and affiliated colleges is going to be difficult.
There are about one lakh graduate seats in LU, Mahavidyalaya and AKTU, but 51,000 intermediate students are being promoted from Lucknow only for applying. KKC spokesperson Vijay Raj Srivastava said that with the promotion of all the students in Inter, the admission application will increase by 20 to 30 percent. While about four lakh students from Barabanki, Basti, Gonda, Bahraich, Sitapur, Hardoi and other adjoining districts come to Lucknow to pursue graduation. In such a situation, there is a fight for seats this year.
